Winter Flu & Covid Vaccines 2025/26

We will be running our winter Flu Vaccine Clinics at CALDBECK SURGERY

SATURDAY 4th October

SATURDAY 15th November

SATURDAY 29th November

It is recommended that everyone aged 65 and over by 31st March 2026 and anyone with lung disease, diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, without a spleen or pregnant, or is a main carer, is offered a flu vaccination. The Practice considers it very important that all our patients in this age group and with these conditions are able to take advantage of this.

An October start date reflects advice to NHS England from the Joint Committee on vaccination and Immunisation that flu vaccine effectiveness can wane over time in adults and so a later start date is preferable.

If there is someone you rely on to care for you, please ask them to contact their own GP Practice, as they may be eligible for a free flu vaccination

Patients will be invited via Text if Mobile available or via Letter for those who do not have one

If you decide to decline the flu vaccine, please call the surgery and let us know to stop the invites.

When arriving for your flu vaccination please only attend the session you are booked in and wear clothes that allow access to the top of your shoulder as this shortens time spent at the surgery.

If you are over 75 years old or Immunosuppressed you will be offered a COVID vaccine at the time of your flu appointment if available.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

BE AWARE THAT IT WILL BE A BUSY CLINIC, PLEASE PARK IN THE VILLAGE IF ABLE TO WALK

Kind regards
