Cumberland Council has launched a new specialist support service for adults who are d/Deaf, hard of hearing, or living with dual sensory loss (deaf and blindness).
The service provider is BID Services, a national Deaf charity. They can provide information, advice and guidance, and can also conduct Care Act assessments and provide specialist equipment, if eligible.
